ChapCare and the The Los Angeles Sparks would like to thank McKinley School for hosting the #WeAreStrong School Assembly on November 16th, 2016. Fresh off a 2016 WNBA Championship, the Sparks Street Team and Sparky the Dog educated students on how to get healthy through diet and exercise.

Students participated in a number of activities from dance competitions with Sparky to a shoot-out contest. The students were rewarded with autographs, backpacks and other memorabilia.

The Sparks explained to students the importance of pairing exercising regularly with eating healthy. They demonstrated a number of easy exercises such as jumping jacks to encourage students to stay active.
