Fire Scorches Through Pasadena Apartment

PASADENA, CA -- Six people were displaced from their Pasadena apartment building due to a fire, the Pasadena Fire Department reported Sunday. The fire inside a 24-unit building at 1000 E. California Blvd., at the intersection with Wilson Avenue, was reported at 10:30 p.m. Saturday, the fire department reported. The blaze was confined to two units.

Firefighters extinguished the flames in about 30 minutes, according to the fire department. The loss was estimated at $250,000.

No injuries were reported.
