PASADENA, CA — A small brush fire is burning in the Pasadena, San Marino area near the Ventura Freeway, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Shortly after 1 p.m., the CHP issued a SigAlert for the 134 Freeway as the fire forced the closure of three lanes. The freeway has also forced ramp closures to the San Rafael Avenue ramps at the westbound 134 near Colorado Boulevard.
The blaze broke out just after 12:30 p.m., and officers were called to the scene where the driver of a dump truck had pulled over and attempted to put out the fire.
