Ruin Falls follows a family consisting of a husband, a wife, and two kids, travelling from their home in the Adirondack Mountains to see the children’s grandparents living in New York. While the mother, Liz, feels anxious throughout the start of their journey, she is unsure why. That is until they stop for the night and she discovers the next morning her children vanished without a trace, the worst nightmare of any mother. While what happened to them is pieced together quickly, Liz’s story really begins as she attempts to retrieve them.
This is Jenny Milchman’s second nationwide book tour. She is joined by her husband and two young children. She was compelled to embark on a second journey after the success the tour for her first novel Cover of Snow, a tour that consisted of 35,000 miles, 125 hotel rooms, and over 400 bookstores, libraries, book clubs, and schools. The family is eager to continue their adventure and look forward to meeting readers.
