Justin Bieber Cancels Rose Bowl Concert/Purpose Tour Without Explanation

Justin Bieber canceled his remaining Purpose tour dates including a show at the Rose Bowl Aug. 5: BREAKING.

PASADENA (CNS) - Singer Justin Bieber Monday canceled the remaining shows on his "Purpose" world tour, including a planned Aug. 5 stop at the Rose Bowl.

The announcement, posted on Bieber's website, did not provide any reason for the decision.

"Due to unforeseen circumstances, Justin Bieber will cancel the remainder of the Purpose world tour concerts," according to the announcement. "Justin loves his fans and hates to disappoint them. He thanks his fans for the incredible experience of the Purpose world tour over the last 18 months.

He is grateful and honored to have shared that experience with his cast and crew for over 150 successful shows across six continents during this run. However, after careful consideration he has decided he will not be performing any further dates. Tickets will be refunded at point of purchase."

Other performances being canceled include shows in Arlington, Texas; Denver; and East Rutherford, New Jersey.
