Man Killed In Pasadena Crash Identified

A 55-year-old man was killed when the electric motorcycle he was riding slammed into a metal pole in Pasadena.

PASADENA, CA — Authorities Friday identified a 55-year-old Altadena man who was killed when the electric motorcycle he was riding slammed into a metal pole in Pasadena.

The solo crash occurred about 12:05 p.m. Thursday at New York Drive and Bradley Street, the Pasadena Police Department reported.

David Clegg died at the scene, said coroner's Assistant Chief Ed Winter.

Clegg was riding a 2017 Zero electric motorcycle, heading east on New York Drive, when he lost control of the bike for unknown reasons and hit the metal pole, said Pasadena police Lt. Diego Torres.
