Man Suspected Of Vandalizing Pasadena's Juicy Wingz , Causing $10K In Damage

Pasadena police arrested a man suspected of causing $10,000 in damages to a Pasadena restaurant and attacking its owner.

PASADENA, CA — A man suspected of causing about $10,000 damage to a Pasadena restaurant Tuesday was arrested after he attempted to assault the owner of the business, police said.

Officers responded to Juicy Wingz at 2675 E. Colorado Blvd. at 4:25 p.m. to a vandalism in progress, according to Pasadena police Lt. Javier Aguilar.

The suspect caused major property damage to the restaurant before fleeing the scene, Aguilar said.

The suspect returned, allegedly attempted to assault the establishment's owner and was taken into custody on suspicion of vandalism and assault. Police also learned that he attempted to assault a pedestrian with a hard object, possibly a stick, when he fled, Aguilar said.

The man, who suffers from mental health issues, was taken to a hospital for evaluation due to his erratic behavior, Aguilar said.
