The Pasadena Convention Center and Pasadena Civic Auditorium are home to a wide variety of events through the year.

1-2 A HAND CRAFTED CHRISTMAS by Contemporary Crafts Market (Oct. 31-Nov. 2)

“The stockings were hung by the chimney with care, in hopes their gifts would be Hand-Made with flair!” A traditional poem with a modern twist means hand-crafted holiday shopping is here.

The Contemporary Crafts Market brings the North Pole to Pasadena. Busy as Santa’s elves, more than 200 skilled artisans are creating a hand-crafted holiday for the public.

Under the tree will be jewelry, ceramics, furnishings, sculptural glass, shoes and leather goods, textiles and many other All-American originals.

The Contemporary Crafts Market proves holiday dreams do come true. Forget malls, traffic jams, mass produced products or snow.

At this winter wonderland, meet the accomplished artists who create unique gifts of functional art. Shop for objects of beauty you won’t find anywhere else at prices everyone can afford.

There is a story behind everything you see. This is a juried show, which means the work is of the highest quality. Artisans from California and the West set the stage for the very best of American craftsmanship.

8-9 DESIGNER CON

Designer Con is an annual art and design convention that smashes together collectible toys and designer apparel with urban, underground and pop art. The two-day event will feature toys, art, apparel, art shows, exclusive products, panels, presentations and more than 300 vendors.

11 CAMERATA PACIFICA

Camerata Pacifica is a chamber music ensemble comprised of the finest performers of chamber music from around the world. The ensemble is distinctive for artistic excellence, an innovative approach to classical music and a repertoire that ranges from baroque to brand new compositions, from familiar masterworks to those that have yet to become favorites. This performance features Schubert’s Four Impromptus, D. 899; Grieg’s Violin Sonata No. 3 in C Minor, Op. 45; and Dvorak’s Piano Trio in F Minor, Op. 65.

22 DELLA ONE IN A THOUSAND WORLD TOUR

Della Ding is a Mainland China Chinese female singer who developed her career in Taiwan. She is popular in Mainland China and Taiwan, as well as overseas. Della will perform her famous songs in concert, including her popular soap opera theme songs.
