On January 20th, the National Women’s Political Caucus (NWPC), Greater Pasadena Area chapter, announced its endorsement of Pixie Boyden for election to Pasadena’s City Council, from district 1.

Berjouhi Kukeyan, President of the Pasadena chapter, said “Pixie Boyden has been a tireless community advocate/organizer with more than 12 years of dedicated and effective service to Pasadena. Through her work on numerous city and school committees, commissions, task forces and public service groups she has helped to make Northwest Pasadena and District 1 a better place to live and work. Pixie is the kind of bright, thoughtful, yet hands-on leader we need for our city, and we are proud to support her.”

The National Women’s Political Caucus is a multi-partisan grassroots organization dedicated to increasing women’s participation in the political process and creating a true women’s political power base to achieve equality for all women. NWPC recruits, trains and supports pro-choice women candidates for elected and appointed offices at all levels of government regardless of party affiliation.
