On Friday, Aug. 1, L.A.vation: The World’s Greatest Tribute to U2 (http://www.u2lavation.com) will energize the Plaza with an unparalleled tribute to the band U2. Critics have claimed that the group is a “true U2 tribute band that accurately executes the music and the look of a real U2 concert.” L.A.vation derives its name from the song “Elevation,” from U2's 2000 album, “All That You Can't Leave Behind.”

All three shows begin at 7:30 p.m. and doors open at 7 p.m. Tickets priced at $10 for general admission and $20 and  $30 for reserved table seats are available online at www.thepasadenacivic.com.

The Pasadena Civic Auditorium Plaza is located at 300 E. Green Street in Pasadena.
