Pasadena Freeway Tunnel To Close Daytimes Through November

The underground offramp from the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway to the southbound freeway stub that ends at Del Mar Boulevard is closed.

PASADENA, CA — A freeway tunnel in Pasadena will be closed daytimes starting Monday and lasting through November, Caltrans reported Sunday.

The underground offramp from the westbound Foothill (210) Freeway to the southbound freeway stub that ends at Del Mar Boulevard will be closed for repaving, from 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. Monday through Friday, the state agency said.

The long, curving ramp was built to connect to the Long Beach (710) Freeway, which was never built and is considered by many to be all-but-dead.
