Pasadena Man Arrested In Connection With Body Found Off Highway
U.S. marshals tracked a suspect wanted in the shooting death of a 22-year-old man whose body was found near Angeles Crest Highway.
PASADENA, CA — A 30-year-old man was in custody Tuesday in connection with the fatal shooting of a 22-year-old man whose body was found near Angeles Crest Highway in the Pasadena area, police said.
Pasadena resident Julio Robles-Castaneda was found with fatal gunshot wounds near mile marker 26.85 just after 1 a.m. Wednesday.
U.S. marshals tracked a suspect to the 1600 block of Brigden Road and arrested Daniel Cervantes of Pasadena around noon. Pasadena police detectives also searched a home in the area.

Cervantes is being held without bail at the Men's Central Jail in Los Angeles, according to sheriff's inmate records.
Police believe the killing wasn't random, but are still looking into the motive.
