Pasadena Officers Looking For Dangerous Drivers Friday, March 6

PASADENA, Calif.—Pasadena Police Department will be conducting a traffic enforcement detail throughout the city on Friday, March 6. Officers will be deployed at various locations looking for dangerous driving behaviors, including speeding, red light and right-of-way violations, and other violations that lead to traffic collisions.

When violations are observed, motorists will be cited and/or educated on the safety concerns associated with the violations. The need for driver education and enforcement is ongoing due to traffic volume within the city of Pasadena.

Pasadena Police Department’s ultimate goal is to enforce and educate the driving public while reducing serious injuries and fatal collisions.

Funding for this and other traffic enforcement programs is provided by a grant from the California Office of Traffic Safety, through the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.
