A Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Baby Boomers Survey conducted by Wakefield Research in February showed that the most important factor for retirees  in choosing their next home was low-maintenance features, based on 42 percent of respondents.

About 72 percent of respondents surveyed planned to stay in the state where they currently live.  And an article in RealtorMag reported that baby boomers are increasingly drawn to larger cities for retirement, after spending their working life in suburban family homes. Now, they want to live near dining, shopping and social events.


Buying Pasadena real estate also gives retirees the opportunity to easily take on part-time jobs, explore ocal attractions and enjoy closer proximity to universities, entertainment  and sporting events.
