PCDA Presents Its Seventh Annual Harvest Moon
An elegant evening of food, art and music to benefit children with developmental challenges

Professional Child Development Associates (PCDA) is hosting its Seventh Annual Harvest Moon Dinner and Art Auction on Saturday, Sept. 19, 2015 at 6 p.m. at the home of Mario and Therese Molina in South Pasadena. The theme this year is “Designing for the Future,” representing PCDA’s enduring commitment to providing high-quality services to children and young adults with autism and other developmental challenges.
As guests arrive, they will have a chance to mingle, bid in the silent auction and enjoy appetizers, all while listening to music performed by a Pasadena Symphony Quartet. This reception will be followed by a seated gourmet dinner prepared by celebrated chef Claud Beltran. There will be a presentation to highlight PCDA’s accomplishments of the past year, along with a live auction. Carolyn Watson will be honored as the recipient of PCDA’s Community Service Award. She is an internationally-recognized designer and restoration specialist, as well as a philanthropist and parent of a PCDA alumnus. The gala is expected to draw more than 300 people, and is made possible by sponsors such as Lockton Insurance, Odom and Kate Stamps, The Harvey and Ellen Knell Foundation, The Burketriolo Family Foundation and United Agencies Inc., among others.
“The funds raised at our annual Harvest Moon gala will translate into needed services for children and young adults with autism and other developmental challenges,” said Dr. Diane Cullinane, executive director of PCDA. “This year’s theme, ‘Designing for the Future,’ reflects our commitment to planning, working and advocating for quality services for children both now and in the future.”
