Police And Family Of Missing Pasadena Teen Seek Help Finding Him

Jonas Elijah Nelson, 19, has been missing for two months, and he was last seen in Altadena.

ALTADENA, CA — The sheriff's department and the family of a young man who disappeared in Altadena two months ago are asking for help bringing him home safely.

Sheriff's officials Wednesday circulated a photo of a 19-year-old man who suffers from bipolar disorder, Catatonia Disorder and schizophrenia.

Jonas Elijah Nelson was last seen on Jan. 20 in the 200 block of East Sacramento Street. Nelson is a resident of Pasadena.

Nelson is black, 6 feet 4 inches tall, weighs 190 pounds, and has brown hair and eyes.

Anyone knowing his whereabouts was urged to call the sheriff's department at (323) 890-5500, or Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-TIPS.
