Police Seek Help Identifying Pasadena Burglar

Do you recognize this man who broke into a Pasadena home and threatened the resident?

PASADENA, CA — Police Tuesday released a sketch of a burglary suspect who was confronted by a resident inside a Pasadena home earlier this month.

The resident was asleep about 7:45 a.m. Oct. 7 in the 100 block of North Mar Vista Avenue when he was awakened by noises and confronted the suspect in his living room, according to Pasadena police.

"The suspect ordered the resident back into his bedroom by gesturing as if he was armed," then fled with items he stole from the home, police said.

The suspect was described as black, 30 to 40 years old, 6 feet tall, with a thin build and short, straight black hair.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information about the hot prowl burglary was urged to call Pasadena police Detective Chris Burchett at (626) 744-7088.
