Rose Bowl Shooting Victim Was At Wrong Place, Wrong Time: Police
An 18-year-old working his first day of a new job doing cleanup at the Rose Bowl was shot and killed after the UCLA game Saturday.

PASADENA, CA — An 18-year-old man shot and killed outside the Rose Bowl Saturday, was likely the tragic victim of circumstance. On his first day of a new job at a company hired to clean up the area, Kamryn Stone was just in the wrong place at the wrong time, police said Monday.
Stone was killed when shooting broke out after a fight that took place at the stadium at the conclusion of the University of Oklahoma/UCLA Bruins game. Another victim, a 51-year-old man, was also shot but is expected to survive.
Stone was a recent high school graduate taking real estate classes at West LA College, his father told CBS2.

Officers were called to the scene at about 11:20 p.m. Saturday to the area of Arroyo Boulevard and Seco Street regarding a physical altercation and shots fired. There they found two gunshot victims, Pasadena Police Lt. Jesse Carrillo said. Stone, a resident of Los Angeles, died at the hospital a short time later. The second was listed in stable condition, he said.
"The motive for the altercation that led to the shooting remains under investigation," Carrillo added. "Preliminary, it appears this incident may not be random in nature."
