Ruth’s Chris Steak House Named Best SIP-tember Cocktail Winner

A tangy, rouge liquor shaken in ice, with an extra cherry and orange, won the nod for best cocktail in Pasadena, a creation. 

'The Broad Street Hurricane' from Ruth's Chris Steak House won the competition hosted by Pasadena Chamber of Commerce Thursday night.

The event featured local restaurants and businesses at Pasadena's Paseo courtyard during a continued summer celebration of the 100th birthday party for Pasadena's native Julia Child. 

The competition started with 64 cocktails and sipped its way to four finalists, including runners up (in no particular order): Gale’s Restaurant's 'Basil Lemon Martini,' Magnolia Lounge's 'Vinnie Chase,' and Toro Sushi Bar's 'Finding Nemo.'
