Search On For Missing Pasadena Teen

PASADENA, CA — A 19-year-old Pasadena man went missing more than two weeks ago, and sheriff's detectives are asking for help finding him.

Jonas Elijah Nelson disappeared in Altadena on Jan. 6, according to authorities. He was last seen at 8 p.m. on the night of the 6th in the 4000 block of Chainey Trail.

Nelson is black and stands 6 feet 4. He weighs about 190 pounds and has brown hair and blue eyes, the sheriff's department said. He was last seen wearing black sweat pants, an orange hoody with silver reflector tape.

Anyone who knows Nelson's whereabouts was asked to call the sheriff's department at (323) 890-5500 or 911. Tipsters can call Crime Stoppers at (800) 222-8477.
