PASADENA, CA -- A squirrel that came into contact with some electrical equipment Sunday left customers in the central and eastern portions of Pasadena in the dark for close to an hour.
The outage occurred about 10:20 a.m., according to officials at the Pasadena Water and Power Department.
Power was restored about 11:10 a.m. and no injuries were reported.

It was not immediately known how many customers were in the dark.
The condition of the squirrel was not available.
