Voices for Five Acres Gala on May 17
Five Acres is pleased to announce the entertainment for the upcoming Voices for Five Acres gala: In Pursuit, a unique group with a wide musical range, led by vocalist Robbin King Nordsten, of Altadena; and guests also will be treated to the extraordinary voice of 13-year-old singer and songwriter, J'Rose, who was awarded "2013 Best Teen Artist" by the Malibu Music Awards.
This year's gala will honor Michelle LeClair and Tena Clark for their joint dedication to meeting the needs of children and families in crisis.
Serving as emcees will be actor Matthew Lillard, currently seen on "The Bridge" on FX, and Wendy Burch, Emmy award-winning reporter and anchor, on KTLA. The popular annual event features music, dancing, dining and a live auction. All proceeds support Five Acres programs and services that ensure safety, well-being and permanency for children and their families throughout Southern California.
Event tickets for Voices for Five Acres gala are $250 per person. Cocktail reception begins at 6 pm, with dinner and program at 7:30 pm, on Saturday, May 17 at The Trinity Ballroom, 778 S.
