Woman Shot To Death In Pasadena Identified

PASADENA, CA — A woman who was fatally shot in Pasadena was identified Monday, and the woman who allegedly killed her remained in custody, authorities said.

Katoya King, 44, was shot about 1:45 a.m. Saturday in the 100 block of West Peoria Street and died at a hospital, according to the coroner's office and the Pasadena Police Department.

Teretha Howard, 58, of Pasadena, was booked on suspicion of murder, with bail set at $2 million, said Pasadena police Lt. John Luna.
