Young Motorcyclist Killed In Pasadena Crash

PASADENA , CA — A motorcycle and a car collided in Pasadena this afternoon, killing the 22-year-old rider.

The motorcyclist, a Pasadena resident whose name was not immediately released, died at a hospital following the 12:25 p.m. crash at the intersection of Washington Boulevard and Holliston Avenue, according to Pasadena police Lt. Diego Torres.

The man was westbound on Washington, riding a 2013 Yamaha, and collided with a Toyota Camry headed north on Holliston, Torres said.

"The driver of the Toyota, a 50-year old Pasadena woman, remained at the scene and was not injured," Torres said.

Alcohol or drugs do not appear to be a factor in the collision, he said.
