PETALUMA, CA — A severe traffic alert is in effect on eastbound CA-116 at US-101 South and CA-1.
The right lane near Petaluma remains closed, California Highway Patrol reported at 7:47 a.m.
Motorists are advised to expect delays and to use alternate routes to avoid the area. There is no estimated time to reopen the roadway.
CHP issued an earlier alert at 7:15 a.m. involving a collision and overturned tractor trailer on southbound CA-1 north of Stewarts Point Skaggs Springs Road.
