Watch: White Infiniti Driver Flees Taco Bell Lot After Crash In North Bay

Police say a driver damaged two parked vehicles, struck a fire hydrant, then disappeared before officers arrived.

PETALUMA, CA — Petaluma police are searching for the driver of a white Infiniti that investigators say crashed into two parked vehicles, struck a nearby fire hydrant, and fled the scene early July 16.

The incident happened at about 12:59 a.m. in the Taco Bell parking lot on East Washington Street, just east of Highway 101, near Edith Street.

Surveillance video posted by the Petaluma Police Department on social media shows a white vehicle ramming into two parked cars, then driving off.

The white Infiniti was occupied by two men who did not stop after the collision, according to the Petaluma Police Department.

Investigators said the same vehicle may have then hit a fire hydrant near Edith Street and East Washington Street just moments later before fleeing the area.

Officers were unable to locate the vehicle or its occupants, according to Petaluma police.

Police are asking anyone with information about the crash, or who may know of a white Infiniti with recent front-end damage, to contact police.
