'We had a mission': Local couple photographs hundreds of historic schools (pressdemocrat.com) — A longtime Petaluma couple, including a retired Petaluma police captain and a Petaluma High alum, spent 13 years photographing more than 300 historic one-room schools across Northern California, including several in Petaluma. Loaded Gun, Drugs And Stolen IDs Found During Santa Rosa Traffic Stop: Police (patch.com) — A 48-year-old Petaluma woman was arrested in Santa Rosa after a late-night traffic stop uncovered a loaded revolver, suspected drug paraphernalia, and numerous IDs and checks belonging to other people. Police say the driver, stopped for expired registration, now faces multiple firearm, drug, and identity-theft-related charges in Sonoma County Jail.
5. Duesenberg SSJ Wins Best of Show at 75th Pebble Beach Concours (theshopmag.com) — A Petaluma-based collection, The Keller Collection at the Pyramids, earned third place in the Streamliner class at this year's prestigious Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance with a 1932 Duesenberg J Streamline Coupe. The wider event crowned a Clark Gable–owned Duesenberg SSJ as Best of Show and surpassed $50 million in total charitable giving for Monterey County nonprofits.
