• Wine Country luxury hotel project is abandoned after years of bitter debate (sfchronicle.com) — A long-debated luxury hotel planned for Petaluma Boulevard South and B Street has been abandoned, with developer EKN Development exploring a sale of the downtown site. The city has recorded an $860,000 lien to recoup project costs, though approvals for the four-story design remain in place if a future buyer wants to revive the hotel plan.
