1 Child, 3 Adults Injured In Weekend Shootings In Oakland

An 11-year-old girl was shot Sunday on Adeline Street.

OAKLAND, CA — Four separate shootings in Oakland sent four people to the hospital, but none of them suffered life-threatening injuries, according to Oakland police.

The first shooting on Saturday morning happened at East 12th Street and 22nd Avenue at 5:27 a.m. The male victim walked into a police station with a gunshot wound to report the shooting, police said.

Another man was shot at 11:21 a.m. at 52nd Avenue and International Boulevard. Police were dispatched to the location and emergency personnel transported the man to the hospital.

A man was shot on Sunday at 12:29 p.m. at 73rd and Bancroft avenues. Officers found him suffering from a gunshot wound.

Also Sunday, an 11-year-old girl was shot in the 2300 block of Adeline Street at 4:11 p.m. Dispatchers received several calls reporting a shooting and they responded to find a girl shot. Her injuries were not life-threatening, police said.
