Teen Killed In Oakland Crash Identified
Several people were hospitalized following the 3-vehicle crash.

OAKLAND, CA βA man who was killed in a three-vehicle collision in East Oakland early Sunday morning was identified by the Alameda County coroner's bureau today as 19-year-old Darwin De Leon of Oakland.
Police said De Leon suffered fatal injuries when the 2004 Mazda RX8 he was driving was hit by an eastbound Ford Explorer at 1:08 a.m. Sunday at the intersection of 77th Avenue and International Boulevard.
The Explorer then veered into the westbound lanes and hit a 2002 Honda Accord that was going west on International, according to police. De Leon suffered serious injuries and was pronounced dead a short time later at Highland Hospital in Oakland, police said.

An Oakland man who was a passenger in the Mazda suffered injuries in the collision and is in stable condition at Highland, according to police.
The male driver of the Ford Explorer, a non-Oakland resident, suffered minor injuries. A woman passenger in the Explorer, another non-Oakland resident, suffered serious injuries and is in stable condition at Highland.

Two male juveniles, who aren't Oakland residents, who also were passengers in the Explorer were transported to UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital Oakland to be treated for minor injuries, according to police.
The woman driver of the Honda, an Oakland resident, wasn't injured but an Oakland woman who was a passenger suffered minor injuries and was treated at the scene and released, police said.
Authorities said alcohol was a factor in the fatal collision but didn't specify which driver or drivers may have been under the influence.Police said their investigation into the case is still continuing and they are asking anyone who has information about it to call traffic investigators at (510) 777-8570.
