15 East Bay Dogs Rescued by Volunteers, Flown Out of Livermore
The volunteers and dogs took off from the Livermore Municipal Airport this morning.

A dozen volunteers from Wings of Rescue airlifted 15 at-risk Oakland Animal Shelter dogs to Washington and Canada to find the pups permanent homes this morning.

Four rescue groups, including LeftBehindK9Rescue, Rescued Hearts Northwest, Size Small Dog Rescue and Dachshund Rescue Team, will meet the dogs in Bellingham to give them foster homes while finding them new homes.
