2 Men Shot, 2 Women Stabbed In Oakland

Police have made zero arrests.

PIEDMONT, CA — Two men were shot in separate attacks in East Oakland Thursday night and Friday morning, police said.

An adult male was shot in the 10900 block of International Boulevard just before 8 p.m. on Thursday and is in stable condition at a local hospital, where he is being treated for a gunshot wound, according to authorities.

Police logs indicate that the incident also involved a carjacking and that the man who was shot and a female who was with him but wasn't injured had some marijuana stolen from them.

Another adult male was shot in the area of 98th and Edes avenues shortly before 2 a.m. today, police said. The man was taken to a local hospital, where he's in stable condition, according to police. A second man was with the victim but he wasn't injured.

No one has been arrested for either of the shootings and police haven't disclosed any information about suspects in the two cases.

In a third incident, police said that two adult females were stabbed in the 400 block of 13th Street in the heart of downtown Oakland at 5:35 p.m. on Thursday and arrested an adult female suspect. Police said the two victims suffered lacerations but are listed in stable condition at a local hospital.
