7 People Hospitalized After Weekend Shootings In Oakland

The injuries came in six different incidents.

OAKLAND, CA —Several people were victims of separate shootings Sunday night in Oakland, police said.

At 9:51 p.m., four people were victims of a shooting in the 3000 block of Logan Street. Two of the victims were taken to a hospital for treatment of gunshot wounds to the ankle and leg, police said.

At 11:08 p.m., a male victim was shot in the 5500 block of Foothill Boulevard. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment of a gunshot wound and he is in stable condition.

A few minutes later at 11:11 p.m., four people, including three females and one male, were victims of a shooting in the 6900 block of Fresno Street. One of the victims was hospitalized with a gunshot wound to the arm, police said.

No arrests have been made in any of the shootings and no suspect information was immediately available from police.

The shootings come one day after another spate of shootings in Oakland. On Saturday, three male victims were hospitalized with gunshot wounds in three separate shootings that occurred between 3 p.m. and 10:38
p.m., according to police.
