PHS Varsity Football - Meet the Team #3

For seniors, playing their last year in a high school sport is bittersweet. They are at the top of the team, but this is the last year they will be with many of their friends. Today meet three seniors and three friends: Teddy Heafey, Gavin Moscone and Ryan (Sully) Sullivan.

Teddy Heafey is a 5'10'', 185 lb. linebacker who wears #57. He is a multi-sport player, specializing in lacrosse and football, and hopes to play at the next level.

Teddy is one of the players who has known Coach Kev for the longest. He says,  "I respect Coach Kev because he treats everyone the same and doesn't tolerate nonsense."

Gavin Moscone is a 5'9", 200 lb. center who wears #51.  He also is a multi-sport player, playing both football and rugby. If you see Gavin walking around with a big smile on his face, it is because he is ready to play. Last year he had a labral tear which kept him out for the entire season. This summer he was healthy and spent lots of hours in the weight room and on the field. The coaches consider Gavin one of the hardest workers on the team.

Ryan (Sully) Sullivan is a four-year player in baseball and football. In both sports he plays positions that are constantly involved in the action - he is a catcher on the baseball team and a quarterback on the football team.

Sully is 5'10" and weights 175 lb. He is recovering from an injury right now, but sometime in October you will see #10
out on the field, doing what he likes most, playing the game.
