Acclaimed writer, scientist, activist and public health specialist, Dr. Sandra Steingraber, author of Raising Elijah and Living Downstream, will speak about the known and hidden dangers of fracking and how to build a movement to stop it. Dr. Steingraber is a co-founder of New Yorkers Against Fracking and has been a tireless domestic and global advocate against extreme oil and gas extraction.
This is a special fundraiser for the fracktivists of San Benito, Santa Barbara and Mendocino who have put FRACKING BAN initiatives on their county ballots in November.
