Beach Capital Campaign Receives $20,000 Challenge Grant

The dollar-for-dollar match runs through April 6

A group of donors has stepped up and issued a $20,000 “dollar for dollar” challenge grant to the , according to Jonathan Davis, a coordinator with the campaign. For a limited time, the donors will match every dollar given to the campaign, up to $20,000.

“This is a great opportunity for the Beach community and we hope it will inspire anyone who has been putting off making their contribution,” Davis said.

The challenge grant will remain open until April 6, the last day of school before spring break.

Donations are tax-deductible and can be made online at www.beachcapitalcampaign.eventbrite.com or by mailing a check to BPO-Beach Capital Campaign c/o Laura Katter, 8 Manor Drive, Piedmont, CA 94611.

Supporters donating $250 or more will be acknowledged by a tile in a permanent installation on the school grounds. Tile sizes will increase depending on the size of a donation (tile levels are: $250-999, $1,000-2,499, $2,500-4,999, and $5,000+. Contributions of any amount are gratefully accepted.

“Our goal is 100% participation of parents and families at the school and the grade level which has the highest participation rate will be recognized with a tile,” Davis said.

The campaign, now into its second month, will remain open until May 1.
