Ear Acupuncture Treatments are 20 minutes and $20.

How Does Ear Acupuncture Work?
The ear is a holographic layout of your entire body. By placing needles or seeds on specific points on the ear, we can stimulate qi (energy/prana) and xue (blood) to flow to and through a specific part of the body or organ system, moving stagnation (a major cause of pain, indeed, it is a Chinese Medicine trope that "there is no pain without stagnation, in the absence of stagnation there is no pain," to paraphrase), or simply send the message to your own body that it's time to rebalance the area or organ we have brought attention to with the needle.
Each person will receive a personalized adaptation of the National Acupuncture Detoxification Association (NADA) protocol, which was designed for nervous system regulation specifically to address the discomfort that comes with addictions recovery, and/or Battlefield Acupuncture (BFA) which was developed as an analgesic for those suffering from acute pain.
If you would like a more specific treatment, we will ask you 2-3 very basic questions quietly in the space to protect your privacy and decide which points will benefit you most. You may receive the exact NADA or BFA protocol, a blend of the two, or something slightly different if the need arises.
For example, let's say you arrive in acute pain due to menstrual cramps. Your treatment would likely consist of NADA on one ear to assist you in dealing with the strain on your nervous system of being in pain, and a modified version of BFA on the other ear to target the uterus.
Lastly, in community style acupuncture, you will receive your treatment among peers, in a group of up to 6 people.
