City Maintenance Truck Hits Pedestrian in Oakland
The pedestrian was taken to the hospital.

A city maintenance truck struck and injured a pedestrian in Oakland this morning, police said.
Police responded to reports of the collision at 9:57 a.m. near the corner of International Boulevard and Miller Avenue.
The pedestrian was walking north on Miller Avenue and hit by a city of Oakland maintenance truck headed west on International, police said. The pedestrian was taken to a hospital with a complaint of pain, police said.

The driver was not injured and cooperated with the police investigation.
