Courtney Paris Signs with WNBA's Tulsa Shock
Courtney and her sister Ashley gave their names to the PHS Paris Twins Classic women's basketball tournament.
Former women's basektball star Courtney Paris has signed with the WNBA's Tulsa Shock, the team announced this week.
Paris, a 2003 graduate of PHS, is expected to be in the lineup today, Wednesday, when the Shock plays the Los Angeles Sparks at Staples Center.
“Courtney is an inside power player with a soft touch around the rim and ability to score in the paint,” Head Coach Gary Kloppenburg said in an announcement on the Shock website. “She is an excellent rebounder at both ends of the floor and with hard work can develop into a solid inside presence for us.”
