Did You Feel It? 2.6 Earthquake Near Piedmont on Saturday Night
The quake was reported around 7:40 p.m.

An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 2.6 was recorded near Berkeley in Alameda County this evening, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.
The temblor was reported around 7:40 p.m. about 1 mile southeast of Berkeley and 2 miles northwest of Piedmont, USGS officials said. The earthquake had a depth of 6.5 miles, according to the USGS.
