
One of Piedmont’s most popular community events - the Piedmont Harvest Festival –returns on Sunday, September 25 at Piedmont Community Park.
This is the 13th annual Festival and it will feature old favorites such as the Edibles Contest, Farmer’s Market, Tri-School Carnival, Jazz Festival, Scarecrow Alley and Art Show, all against the culinary backdrop of tasty grilled meats, artisan salads and freshly squeezed lemonade. New this year will be “Get Ready,” a disaster-preparedness activity booth where representatives from community safety agencies will offer tips and guidanceon preparing for disasters. This new entrant joins other community groups that will offerinformation on a wide variety of topics for Festival participants.
Entry forms for the Edibles Contest can be picked up at the Piedmont RecreationDepartment, 358 Hillside Ave., Piedmont.
