The series Hidden Agenda is painted on 4' x 4' panels. Each piece is painted with the gentle and beautiful transparency of watercolors. I make large marks over the watercolors with black India ink. The shapes of the ink are rich with patterning created by crackling.
The series Bunkers are ways to reduce my sense of jeopardy. I am exploring what I want to keep safe, why I feel I need to protect it and what I do with these constructions when they are no longer needed.
