Bedtime with the Beasts!
Children get a special glimpse in to the Zoo in Bedtime with the Beasts, is an overnight program for youth groups (ages 6-18) and their chaperones. An Oakland Zoo education specialist leads groups on an evening hike around the zoo so children can see what goes on when visiting hours are over. Afterwards, snacks are served and kids can participate in an activity. They will then be able to meet one of the Zoo's education animals up close.
When it's time for bed, children will go to the Education building's auditorium, where they can watch an educational wildlife video on the big-screen before going to sleep.
In the morning a continental breakfast is served and there is a private tour to see some of the animals as they awaken. Groups arrive at the zoo at 7:00pm and the program ends the next morning at 9:00am.
