British Choir at St. Paul's

The Crypt Choir of the King's School, Canterbury, England, will participate in the 10am service, singing Communion Service by Harold Darke, Gibbins' O clap your hands, and William Byrd's Ave Verum Corpus.

A 15-minute recital, featuring music of the Anglican tradition spanning four centuries, will follow at approx. 11:45am, after the service.

All are welcome to attend the service and/or the mini-concert, to hear this wonderful choir of high school-age students.

The Crypt Choir performs weekly in Canterbury Cathedral.

The King’s School has a long and distinguished tradition of musical excellence both chorally and instrumentally. The Crypt Choir form the school’s senior choir and competition for places in this choir is fierce each year. The Crypt Choir’s primary purpose is to provide music for weekly services in Canterbury Cathedral. In addition, the choir fulfills a busy schedule of concerts and service and has recorded three CDs in recent years. Their current tour includes San Francisco and Oakland, Orange County, Los Angeles, Connecticut and New York.
