So what can you expect at the Memorial? Event coordinators, Lisa Riddiogh and Debbie Powell have a great line up of basketball, memories, food and entertainment designed to appeal to the entire community. The day starts at 11:45 with the Piedmont Bagpipers welcoming the players to the Gymnasium. The Troubadours will sing the national anthem before Game 1. Throughout the event, another basketball parent, Leesy Taggert, will have student speakers reciting passages from Dr. King's works. Concession parents, Rik and Lucy Hanson will have the grill going and the scent of hot dogs and hamburgers will fill the air.
