The Lakeview Book Club selection for the Month of February 2011 is "STIFF: The Curious Lives of Human Cadavers" by Mary Roach, a Bay Area Author of national fame. There are many copies in Oakland Public Library. Her other famous books are, "Bonk: The Curious Coupling of Science and Sex" and her new book, "Packing for Mars: The Curious Science of Life in the Void," and "Spook: Science Tackles the Afterlife." Her work is entertaining, humorous and packed with information you would not encounter easily elsewhere!
