An eclipse is an interesting event on its own, but when viewed through the high-powered telescopes at Chabot Space & Science Museum, the experience becomes a special lifetime event.
With weather cooperation, participants can view the Total Eclipse through Chabot's scientific telescopes on the observation deck. Watch the Earth's shadow creep across the moon's surface while experiencing "moon labs"-- learning more about our closest planetary neighbor, earthly night creatures, and hidden secrets of eclipses.
