From mid October to November 2, the celebration time of Day of the Dead, is an important event in many Latin-American cultures. Those who have died are honored by delicious foods and colorful caricatures and crafts including brightly painted skeletons, skulls, wreaths and crosses bedecked with flowers.
The Montclair Library is hosting a Mask-Making Class where children can decorate skulls with glitter, feathers, paints, and markers. Creativity and imagination are strongly encouraged!
