MOCHA, the Museum of Children's Art, is hosting a Recreate Event for children at the Montclair Branch Library.
Locally recognized for their programs in children's art, MOCHA believes in artistic play, focusing on the newest educational practices while still having fun. They believe that artistic classes and programs inspire youth and motivate imagination, and with engaging lessons and projects and interactive learning opportunities, children are bound to discover something new about color, form, and structure.
This event focuses on reusing materials to create art. With the help of MOCHA artists, children will be able to use their creativity and imagination to make textural art with recycled materials. Then, all items will be put on display for a fun contest!
