Santa Claus makes an appearance at Flamingo Plaza at Oakland Zoo, so children can share their wish lists and have pictures taken. A donation of $5 per photo is requested to benefit Oakland Zoo's animal residents. Santa inside will be moved inside the the event of rain. A variety of family-friendly entertainment is planned each day:
- Festive animal feedings
- Learn what types of holiday treats the animals enjoy
- Listen to live performances.
The Zoo is offering a holiday breakfast in the Island Cafe for $6.00.
